Mercer Kitchen
I’ve mentioned Mercer Kitchen before.  I’m a huge fan of chef Jean-Georges and his menu of American food through the eyes of a Frenchman.  The steamed shrimp salad makes a great light lunch, and wood-fired pizzas are a great shared dinner among friends!

La Ripaille
At one of the oldest restaurants in the West Village, owner Alain Laurent scours the markets each day for the best fresh produce, creating seasonal and unique daily specials.  That, plus the warmth of a fireplace at the back of the beautiful restaurant make this one of the best spots to dine this winter.
