Gluten free pizza from tracy anderson

Bring on the { Spring gluten-free pizza } !

One of the challenges when cooking in my home is that pizza is one of my children’s favorite things to eat.  I grew up with my dad owning a pizzeria so I’m not the biggest fan.  Not to mention Spring being here and bikini weather approaching!  One of the advantages of being a Tracy Anderson Method devotee and NYC member is having access to amazing recipes that taste delicious and prepared in much healthier way taking out what we don’t need to consume.  I can’t wait to try doing all these new gluten-free pizzas!

I asked Megan Grocutt who helps with the preparation of all the foods in  the Tracy Anderson detox programs and shares how- to-tips with a ton of delicious recipes.  Thank you Megan!

Cauliflower Pizza with fresh basil, tomatoes and black olives and fresh mozzarella

Take 1⁄2 head of steamed cauliflower and diced/broken apart into very small pieces should equal 1 cup

Using a cheese cloth or kitchen towel, squeeze excess water out.

Next, take

1 egg, – it helps hold together the cauliflower. Add sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, garlic and onion powder for a tasty crust.

Now, you can also add 1/2 cup of your favorite grated cheese as another binding agent, or you can just use the egg.

Mix pizza crust ingredients together and mold onto pizza dish/pan and place in oven at 365 for about 10-15 mins. Take crust out and add your sauce and toppings. You can place pizza back in for another 10 mins or until your cheese melts just the way you like it!
