WELCOME TO THE 2015 EDITION OF THE ARMORY SHOW
The Armory Show returns to Piers 92 & 94 on Thursday, March 5 with a VIP Preview and Vernissage Wednesday, March 4- 8th
Welcoming 199 galleries from over 28 countries worldwide, Piers 92 & 94 will once again serve as the axis for the international art world and the linchpin of Armory Arts Week.
This year’s Armory Focus: Middle East, North Africa, and the Mediterranean (MENAM) will examine one of the art world’s most burgeoning geographies with 15 participating galleries, including a series of special projects and a dedicated Symposium on Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8. Focus: MENAM is presented with the generous support of Edge of Arabia, Lead Cultural Partner, and Art Jameel, Education Partner, bringing together over 50 artists, critics, and art professionals from the MENAM region.
Navigate the fair online with our Lead Technology Partner, Artsy, who has created The Armory Show microsite, accessible year-round. An iPhone app can be downloaded at http://iphone.artsy.net, enabling users to browse exhibitors, search artists, and access up to the minute programming.
Enjoy an array of food and spirits generously provided by Pommery Champagne, Breads Bakery, Masterpiece and Mile End Deli. The VIP Lounge is presented by Hôtel Americano, offering a full-service restaurant, bar and take out counter featuring a French and Latin-inspired menu by Executive Chef Andres Grundy.
Take a pause from the galleries to browse artist editions, art books, and zines in the pop-up New Museum Store and artist designed objects at Art Markit. Or simply relax in one of our many public lounge spaces, presented by our Official Furniture Partner, Design Within Reach as well as Naula, and Tucker Robbins.
