Blocks, Trucks + Art is a progressive education initiative aimed at children of all ages. The program was launched in the summer of 2015 in a magical setting at the Hayground Camp, Bridgehampton, NY.
The learning experience was enhanced by its “premises,” a converted classic 18-wheeler called Big Mama.
The 48-foot mobile workshop is a dynamic space for kids to work, play and think. Not only is it an enriching experience that children love, they also develop skills, such as creative thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and spatial awareness that they could use back in the classroom and in everyday life.
Tyler and Sofia are spending their third year at Hayground Camp.
We are fortunate to have met Angela Jeph and Luca because the add such a creative component to the camp.
Last year Tyler and Sofia got to express themselves though art and learned how to ride BMX bikes, this year the kids are learning how to DJ thanks to #DJJEPH who will be the resident DJ and this years Bohemian Hampton’s Style Trunk Show.
