8th Annual Hudson River Park Playground Committee Luncheon
I recently had the privilege of attending the 8th Annual Hudson River Park Playground Committee Luncheon, and what a truly remarkable experience it was. Surrounded by the warmth and energy of this beautiful community, I found myself inspired by the unwavering dedication to a cause that touches the hearts of so many – Hudson River Park.
The luncheon served as a powerful reminder of the incredible impact our parks have on the lives of children and families. It was a celebration of community, camaraderie, and the boundless joy that comes from gathering together in support of a shared mission.
As we came together, united in our commitment to ensuring the park flourishes with engaging activities while preserving its natural beauty, I was struck by the power of collective action. Each individual in attendance played a vital role in making a difference – whether through their generosity, their advocacy, or their unwavering support.
The Hudson River Park Friends Playground Committee, in particular, deserves special recognition for their tireless efforts in raising funds to support everything Hudson River Park has to offer. From playgrounds to sports fields, environmental education opportunities to family programs, their dedication knows no bounds. They are the heart and soul of our park community, working tirelessly to create a brighter future for generations to come.
I would be remiss if I didn’t extend heartfelt congratulations to the exceptional honorees of the event – Hoda Kotb and Maria Dueñas Jacobs. Their remarkable contributions to our community serve as an inspiration to us all, reminding us of the power of compassion, empathy, and kindness.
A special thank you to our dear friend Aima Raza for including us and gracious host, Dylan Dreyer, and Presenting Sponsor, Terez. Their support and generosity have made this event possible, and we are truly grateful for their partnership. I look forward to contributing my efforts with these great women at the Hudson River Park organization.
As I reflect on the 8th Annual Hudson River Park Playground Committee Luncheon, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the laughter and camaraderie shared among friends, gratitude for the opportunity to come together in support of a cause we hold dear, and gratitude for the incredible community that makes it all possible. Most of my children’s great memories have been growing up with their friends and families at the Hudson River Park. It’s a great way to give back for so many happy memories.
Here’s to many more years of joy, unity, and shared purpose in support of Hudson River Park and the Hudson River Park Friends Playground Committee. Together, we can continue to make a difference and create a brighter, more vibrant future for all.
