Tribeca’s dining scene is about to get a touch of Milanese sophistication, as Paper Moon Giardino prepares to open its doors at 339 Greenwich Street in late 2025. A Taste of Milan in the Heart of Tribeca
Paper Moon has long been a beloved name in fine dining, with locations spanning London, Istanbul, Dubai, Hong Kong, and beyond. While New Yorkers may remember its Upper East Side outpost decades ago, its revival in Tribeca will bring a fresh take on Italian cuisine to one of Manhattan’s most dynamic neighborhoods.

Behind this exciting venture is Mahween Rahman and her family, the restaurateurs responsible for Beefbar Tribeca, another high-end international dining concept that quickly became a local favorite. Their inspiration for bringing Paper Moon Giardino to New York stems from their extensive travels and deep appreciation for Milan’s culinary heritage.
“We travel extensively, and Milan is one of the places we go all the time,” Rahman explains. “We’ve been to the restaurant for years, and we thought it would be a good addition to the New York market.”

Expect an atmosphere that blends classic Milanese charm with contemporary New York elegance, creating a space that’s as visually stunning as it is inviting.
“There are many Italian restaurants in the city, but we are planning to do a very original take on Italian food, and it’s going to be a very elevated atmosphere,” Rahman shares.
