Life in NYC = constant chaos and nonstop energy. Between showings, events, workouts, and being a mom and wife, stillness can feel like a luxury.
So when I was invited to try MOBL by Izabella Chastain, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. But after one short-format session, I got it. It was exactly what my body needed. She was so gracious to also collaborate with Kiff Active and send me this great 2-piece fitness wear that is beyond soft and snug to my body. Sessions are held at Remedy Place in Flatiron, adding a touch of calm right in the heart of the city.

MOBL is a recovery experience rooted in movement, breathwork, and nervous system regulation. No fluff. No chanting. No performance pressure. Just pure space to breathe, stretch, and restore. And in a city where we’re always “on,” that’s gold. At the moment it’s held at Remedy Place in the Flatiron.

After a serious Tracy Anderson workout—the legs, the bands, the mymode— it was a great way to restore with MOBL gave me space to listen. Controlled movement, deep breathing, and smart holds helped me re-center, reduce tightness, and actually feel calm again.
At 54, I’m no stranger to the grind. I train hard. I stay energized. I push to stay strong in every area of life—physically, mentally, emotionally. But what MOBL reminded me is this: recovery is not a luxury—it’s essential.
Here’s What I Loved Most
- Short. Efficient. Effective.
- No spiritual overlays or “woo.”
- Just a calm, clean space to breathe deeply, stretch intentionally, and reset your nervous system.
It felt like the antidote to the overstimulation of city life. And that’s saying a lot.

Let’s Keep Moving (Smart)
I’m all about living fully—working hard, showing up, pushing boundaries. But that only works when you also take time to recover, refuel, and reconnect with your body.
MOBL gave me that gift. I’ll be going back—and if you’re constantly on the move like I am, I highly recommend trying it.
Let’s keep it moving—and never look back.
