TAVERN ON THE GREEN | $125 per adult/$75 per child

There’s a new chef in the house, and he’s turning out quite the spread. Look forward to three bountiful courses, a journey from health-conscious starters through hearty waves of mains, finishing off with a fall-chic dessert selection fit for any holiday palate. Pass the candied pumpkin/Vietnamese cinnamon tart, please.

 JEAN-GEORGES | $168 per adult/$98 per child

Ah Jean-Georges, one of our very favorite twinkly-eyed chefs. The grand Thanksgiving menu is nothing short of righteously refined, taking classics to the next level with just the right touch of French finesse. We’re talking butter poached lobster with Brussels sprout fondue, free range turkey and foie gras stuffing, caramelized beef tenderloin, and of course, a complete dessert tasting. Santé!

THE PALM COURT AT THE PLAZA | $145 per adult/$70 per child under 12

Brace for a breathtaking buffet with Thanksgiving classics from whole roasted turkeys and mashed potatoes, followed by tiers upon tiers of pastries on every table for dessert. Bonus: enjoy complimentary hot cider during breakfast service from 6:30am to 9:30am.

SESSANTA | $75 per person

Thanksgiving would not be complete without a chic Italian feast, now would it? Sixty SoHo’s swanky ristorante Sessanta is serving up quite the spread this year, featuring classic Italian charcuterie, duck lasagne, squash risotto with fried sage, a classic spaghetti, roasted turkey (naturally), roasted branzino, and more. Save room for a few cannoli.

 MISS LILY’S | $38 per person (SoHo location only)

A non-traditional Thanksgiving option that is as funkadelic as it is economically savvy, Miss Lily’s does not disappoint with its three-course Jamaican prix fixe feast. Pumpkin soup, codfish fritters, jerk turkey, jerk sausage stuffing, cranberry mango chutney, callaloo mac & cheese pie, and two classic desserts are on the menu.

BOULUD SUD | $85 per person

Yet another French-kissed Thanksgiving menu, this time with a hint of Boulud Sud’s Mediterranean flavor added to the mix. Chef’s vibrant menu will highlight squab and foie gras pâte en croûte, pumpkin cappelletti, seared sea bass, hand-carved traditional turkey, braised lamb cleopatra, and of course, a handful of desserts, both traditional and not so.

BLACK BARN | $75 per adult/$35 per child

Among our favorite openings of the year, former Waldorf Astoria chef John Doherty’s Black Barn is as stunning in aesthetic as its menu is eye-catching. Chef’s four-course Thanksgiving menu features highlights such as carrot escabeche with burrata and coriander, chestnut gnocchi with autumn vegetables, roasted/braised turkey, two varieties of stuffing, and of course, pumpkin cheesecake.

BARBUTO | $85 per person

Leave it to Jonathan Waxman to whip up the family-style Thanksgiving feast of a lifetime. Chef’s bright Italian classics will range from chicken liver crostini and truffled gnocchi to roasted turkey breast with braised turkey leg ragú and braised greens, served for the table to share and enjoy together.

RAINBOW ROOM | $175 per adult/$65 per child over 9 years old (children under 9 dine at no charge)

A neverending Thanksgiving brunch buffet sixty-five feet above Rockefeller Plaza? Sign us up. This year, the Rainbow Room takes festive feasters on a journey ‘round the world with international specialties ranging from classics like roasted free range turkey with chestnut and sage dressing to globally inspired fare including smoked turkey and andouille gumbo, dim-sum style specialties, and more. Make a day of it with brunch from noon to 6:00pm and live entertainment running until 8pm.
