One of our agents at Mark David & Company is starting a new adventure in life and I can’t wait to see the result! Buena Batiste, along with her sister Kenniece Webber, have written a smart and fun children’s book called The Chicken and The Egg.
The characters in The Chicken and The Egg debate which one should go first by pleading not their own, but each other’s cases.
“Ultimately the book is about logic, critical thinking, and understanding the perspective of others. I really like to hear what kids think. I’ve had people say that afterwards their kids discussed with them which one they thought should go first between the chicken and the egg and if there was another child they would debate with each other,” said Buena.
My favorite thing about this book has to be that kids will find a colorful story and thoroughly enjoy it, and adults will see the humor and mastery of opposing viewpoints. It will be a great book to read to your child and then talk about afterwards.
