This past Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a fabulous beauty event: The Daily Summer’s Beauty Lounge At c/o The Maidstone! It was a wonderful afternoon full of pampering and fun! The Maidstone, a quaint Scandinavian lifestyle hotel right in the heart of East Hampton, provided the perfect intimate setting.

Food Chain is a film by Eric Schlosser (Food, Inc., Fast Food Nation) and director Sanjay Rawal (Challenging Impossibility) that explores the exploitation of farm workers in the agriculture industry in the United States, the complicity of government and corporations in perpetuating human rights abuses and the role consumers can play in ending some of the most egregious human rights violations within our borders.
