Living in NYC is a never ending discovery of new hot spots, but along with that there are “old New York” spots where you can truly enjoy a night out and step back in time. As my dear friend Bianca Pratt would say, “Don’t you enjoy experiencing old New York at this bar?” Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel is a cozy old New York style spot that maintains an Art Deco style and legends of those who have stayed in the hotel and socialized here over the years. (If you’re lucky, you might catch Woody Allen playing piano!)
And she’s right! I loved chatting it up while listening to great piano music, meeting new people, and discussing new events The {New York} life will be hosting this Spring. I can’t wait to co-brand another event with Bianca Pratt, Melissa Hillas of GypsetGirl and do a swimwear fashion show with Rogeria Hanlon of Showroom 212 and her emerging Brazilian swimsuit designer. The one thing that drives me in NYC is building our businesses together through relationships with other empowered women. After all, what would life be without our girlfriends’ support!
Enjoy the photos and your friends!
