One of the newest additions to fabulous Chelsea is the champagne garden at the High Line Hotel, Champagne Charlie. This chic pop-up restaurant just opened in the very European looking front garden of The High Line Hotel on Tenth Avenue. From legendary Australian restaurateur Lincoln Pilcher, known for Moby Dick’s in Montauk and Gilligan’s at the Soho Grand.
Last night I had an amazing dinner at a new favorite spot, Tribeca Canvas. Directed by Iron Chef Morimoto, the well-priced menu features American cuisine with an Asian twist. My favorites were the shrimp nachos, the insanely delicious sea bass, and my friend Rogeria had the steak! We also shared a bottle of my favorite Malbec (Riglos Gran Malnec 2010). A couple of weeks ago I had a few amazing dinners with some incredible people: a couple that Mark and I relocated from London, the advertising director at Manhattan Magazine, and my sweet high school girlfriends celebrating our birthdays together.
